The employees at The Village have been beyond any expectation that I had as far as the care of my dad.  They have excelled in taking care of him and even spoiled him, which has allowed me to be a son and not the caregiver. The entire staff is tremendous, and I have nothing but accolades for The Village at Allandale.

Mama was 86 and living alone when we went to look at The Village at Allandale. She decided that day that was where she wanted to live! Living alone with limited social activity had brought mama to a low place, but once she came to live at The Village, she turned around to her old self. The staff and caregivers have been exceptional, and I truly believe they’ve saved her life. They have her medication on schedule and the socialization has revived her mentally. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Our family will forever be grateful.

The staff is friendly, the meals are great, and the aids and nurses are very helpful.  They have friendly people, and it’s just a very homey, inviting atmosphere.

I love the Village at Allandale. Without a doubt they were an answered prayer while making the decision to allow Dad to go to an assisted living facility. I felt as if I was letting him down, even though I had been trying to care for him myself. Everyone at The Village reassured me that he would be just fine. And, he is. They took him in as if he were family, recognizing his needs not only medically but emotionally as soon as he arrived. The staff has been wonderful to him. They go beyond their everyday duties to make sure he gets to feed his birds, take a walk, and they encourage him to perform tasks that help him feel as if he has a purpose for living.

The Village has always been very professional and worked with us from day one. The personnel are great! You can tell they really work from the heart. Everyone from the management down has always treated us like family. They have been wonderful to my brother and kind to the rest of our family when we visit.

My aunt has been a resident at The Village for six years. It has been a relief to me to know that she is somewhere safe, a place where she is receiving attention 24/7. The staff has always been very friendly and caring, and if there are any concerns, they have always tried to take care of the matter promptly. I have always been contacted at once if there were any health concerns. The Village truly has been an answer to prayer!

My mother has been at The Village at Allandale for almost three years. I am so grateful for the care she gets there. She is loved and paid attention to, and every issue with her health and wellness is addressed. It is a wonderful place that I recommend to anyone.

It’s been more than a year since mom moved to The Village at Allandale. The staff has made the facility feel like home. My mental and physical demands have been greatly reduced so that now the time I spend with her is quality time. Mom recently turned 96, and I feel she is in better health now than when she arrived. She is a great mom and deserves the best care possible and I truly believe she is receiving that at The Village. Thanks to all those involved in her care from the bottom of my heart.
